Tomorrow January 24 is National Compliment Day. I had never heard of this holiday until last week- but I found out about it and thought I would share. I have been reading and hearing from others about how most employees will not get another "holiday" from work until May so we have a long road ahead... Therefore- I am encouraging people to make fun days out of these little-known holidays such as National Compliment Day.
It's so easy to print up a few little notecards that say nice things and set them out so employees can easily appreciate each other. And add some humor to them! Baudville.com has free downloads http://www.baudville.com/recognition-resource-center/free-recognition-downloads/rcdownloads and there are some print and share pages that are so EASY to use and PERFECT for this great holiday!
I say it all the time and I won't quit- happy employees aren't going to go anywhere. Keep them happy and keep them! Doing nice things for people generally feels good too- so get out of your office today and go do something nice. Give someone a COMPLIMENT! It's mandatory.
